'Ello out there

It's been a while, hasn't it. I'm not sure why exactly I haven't written (since there has been time -- I just haven't used it). Oh well. So, school's started and oh boy have I forgotten how much stress homework can be. I have tons and tons of homework already. Amidst this busyness, I've contemplated my choice to major in graphic design and decided against it, mainly because it would keep me in school for an extra three years and that's a lot of money. I'm going to stick with English Language, which means I can graduate with just one extra semester (if I play my cards right). Careerwise, however, I'm still not exactly sure. I suspect that I'll end up doing something either with writing or with publishing of some sort. (I finally did get Adobe CS2 working on my machine, by the way, after purchasing the wrong type of RAM -- which I'll have to sell on eBay sometime soon.)

Side note: Incandescent lamps are much, much cooler than fluorescent. (Um, I'm using "cooler" in the "neat" and "awesome" sense, not as the opposite of "warmer." :)) In whatever home I end up raising my future family in, I'm going to use incandescent bulbs as much as possible. I wonder if there's a safety hazard involved and that's why everyone uses fluorescent, or if it's purely cost, or something else altogether... I did get a desk lamp at the beginning of the week, though, and I'm loving it.

It seemed like there was so much to write about, but I've run out. There will be more before too long.
